Dublin rec center pool swim lesson times11/14/2023 ![]() All attempts will be made to make up missed classes. Please call the Weather Hotline at 614.410.4946, to find out about weekend or evening classes. ![]() When school is canceled, all daytime DCRC classes are canceled, and a decision regarding evening classes (those after 4 p.m.) will be made by 2 p.m. Whenever schools are released early for inclement weather, all evening classes at the DCRC are canceled. In general, DCRC class/activity schedules coincide with Dublin City Schools. Online Swim Assessment Inclement Weather Policyĭuring inclement weather, the DCRC facilities maintain normal operating hours unless directed otherwise by the City Manager. Should the participant need to transfer to another level, availability within the current session is not guaranteed and a partial refund will be issued if other sections are unavailable. Upon the first class, instructors will confirm participants are in the proper level. Uncertain of the correct level to enroll you or your child? Try our online assessment tool at /swim-lessons/ or schedule an in-water assessment with our Aquatics Programming Coordinator at 614.410.4597. *Pairs indicated will require a parent/guardian/care-giver in the water to help aid with skills of swimmer. Instructor to student ratios will be closely monitored to ensure the safety of all participants and quality programming. Parent/guardian/care-giver are more than welcome to join their swimmer in the water during this time. *During exploration time, instructor will be present to assist and provide feedback to swimmers while they work on skills learned or play games. Adaptive: 30 minutes with 15 minutes of exploration.Preschool Levels 1 -3: 30 minutes with 15 minutes of exploration.Parent/Child Levels 2-4: 30 minutes with 15 minutes of exploration.Swim lesson sessions will be six weeks in length, meeting once a week. Our instructors are regularly assessed through in-service trainings to ensure lesson quality and consistency. Additionally, all instructors are CPR certified and BCI background checked. Our instructors go through over 32 hours of intensive classroom and in-water training before taking an exam to be certified as a Water Safety Instructor through the American Red Cross. In addition to the Community Hall and Abbey Theatre, there are other Facility Rentals including the gym, pool, classrooms, shelter houses, amphitheaters and more.Having more than 20 years’ experience offering year-round swim lessons, we continually strive to be the best swim program in central Ohio. The backstage area provides short-term storage and two private dressing rooms. Technical support is available for all programs and events. This flexible presentation and performance space can seat up to 235 people, boasts state-of-the-art lighting, sound and video systems to accommodate virtually any need. This space can be rented for your next event. The Abbey Theatre of Dublin offers quality programs at community prices, providing outstanding entertainment variety in an intimate setting. The hall can also be subdivided into three smaller rooms, each seating up to 64 guests banquet-style or 90 theatre style. Community Hall can seat up to 300 people theater style or 250 people in table rounds of eight. Caterers can use the adjacent warming kitchen, or patrons may bring in their own food and beverage. ![]() The Community Hall features upscale finishes and furnishings, comfortable seating and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment at no additional charge. ![]() The state-of-the-art facilities also provide value, convenience, flexibility and professional, personalized service.
